Although now known better as an Industrial Metal band, Samael was one of the founding groups of 2nd wave Black Metal, or post-Black Metal (which ever you prefer). The video is absolute simplicity, the lyrics are in joyfully satanic verse that metal is so often associated with. It has a melodic quality, and although the lead singer is still "screaming", it has that great growling tone (not just the screeching that so many death metal bands of today have). Enjoy this old school hit, "Baphomet's Throne" from Ceremony of Opposites (1994).
